NHL success not only affects the players current life but also thier lives after retirement.
Many NHL players do not have a college degree, thus majority of the money they will earn in their life time will come from hockey.
Thus, it raises the question: What does it take to succeed in the NHL?
In this study, it will examine these 10 questions and make a conclusion on which stat correlates to success.

Teams in the NHL not only need to win games in order to be successful but also have a thriving and supportive fan base. However, how can one examine what the fans are thinking.
Using tweets centered around multiple hashtags, the current public opinion on the league, teams and players can be determined.
Are there different trends found in each of the hashtags?
Are there trends on current opinion about teams or games in the data?
Are we able to sort these tweets to get more specific information from them?
Using these questions as a basis, data will be gathered from multiple sources using scraping and APIs with R and Python.
This data will then be cleaned and analyzed to determine trends.
After trends have been established, conclusions will be made.
